HISTORY

A testament to the Rathbone Family Wines journey, the Château Yering story stretches from 1838 to today. When the first grapes were planted at the Yering Station site, the original estate homestead was known as Château Yering—a name that has endured as a tribute to its origins. Today, it lives on under an exclusive multi-regional label, expressing fine Australian wine drawn from the nation's premier regions.

VITICULTURE

Chateau Yering offers a collection of wines that reflect all that is great about Australian wine. Primarily Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon blends, these parcels are often selected from renowned cool climate regions, some of which include Heathcote, Swan Hill, Yarra Valley, Grampians and Margaret River.

WINEMAKING

Chateau Yering wines reflect a traditional approach to winemaking. Crafted with structure, balance and restraint, each wine is made to preserve a sense of place, ensuring the character of its origin is expressed with clarity and integrity. Built for enjoyment now or with patience, each wine is made to evolve gracefully over time, revealing greater depth and complexity with age.
