Talus Riesling is selectively hand harvested from our Langi Old Block Riesling vines planted in 1975 at Mount Langi Ghiran. The site’s cool climate, together with granite sands and minimal irrigation, delivers grapes with purity, intensity and a naturally high acidity.

This is the most distinctive Riesling from this region. The aroma immediately strikes with a deep, minerally, flinty, wet-pebble intensity that is absolutely striking. On the palate, the fruit power is evident immediately, but then fine acidity and that minerally character take control, refining it and driving it through to a very long finish. An outstanding wine that demonstrates the beauty of this variety, even as a young wine. It has tremendous cellaring potential.
