Just one of those wines you pour and enjoy without much thought. Not overly complex, but it hits the spot: flavourful with stone fruit and citrus, a hint of flint and creamy lees, and its luscious texture tempered by tangy, mouth-watering acidity.
Delicate and refined, giving aromas of nectarines, flint, lemon peel, sliced pears and grapefruit. The palate is tightly wound with vibrant acidity and generous underlying tension. No malolactic conversion. 100% Gingin clone. Mineral, precise and mouthwatering. Wild-yeast fermentation in 25% new oak. Drink or hold. Screw cap.
Light lemon hue. Pineapple and nougat aromas. Palate has density and power, fruit runs from apple to pineapple with struck flint mineral notes and a sweet, caramelised cashew nut depth. Good length, and it stays driven and focused right to the end. A lot of wine at the price.
