This wine is an expression of purity and finesse, showcasing the terroir of our estate’s Y28 vineyard. With a westerly facing slope and 75m elevation, this site produces a wine that demonstrates flavours of yellow stone fruits, crushed cashew and slight flint notes, bound in a beautifully fine and tense acidity.

Tasting Notes

Colour

Pale yellow straw.

Nose

Opens with ripe nectarine and grapefruit pith, with crushed cashews lending a quiet, toasty richness.

Palate

The palate is fleshy and generous with white peach and lemon curd up front and a cool streak of wet river stones keeping things fresh and focused. A tight coil of bright acidity runs through to the finish, giving the wine its shape and drive.
