The intense bouquet displays aromas of poached apricots, honeysuckle, candied ginger, quince paste and orange blossoms.

Palate

Rich and unctuous. The palate is filles with flavours of spiced baked apricots, candied pineapple and roasted almonds. An alluring floral bouquet of orange blossom fills the palate and a bright acidity balances the sweet lucious finish

Notes

After a wet winter with plentiful rains in August, we launched into the 2026 growing season with high levels of soil moisture. This coincided with a cool spring and a relatively dry growing season. What perfect conditions for growing premium wine grapes! The weather to follow was near perfect since the start of harvest, and an extraordinary Marri blossom year has meant bird pressure was almost non-existent during the white harvest. The whites are a mixed bag on yield: Chardonnay fared well around the region with above average yields, Sauv Blanc yields were variable, and Semillon was lower than expected. V26 quality is generally very good – excellent, with plenty of natural acidity retained in most white varieties. Overall, vintage 2026 for Margaret River whites is emerging as a high-quality, early-ripening year with excellent fruit purity, vibrant acidity and refined varietal expression. Expectations are particularly high for Chardonnay, while Sauvignon Blanc–Semillon blends are also poised to deliver.
